David Paulovics, PhD student at the Institut de Physique de Nice (INPHYNI), has been awarded the prestigious Milton van Dyke Prize for the best video published in the "Fluid Motion Gallery". The award is presented at the annual meeting of the American Physical Society's Division of Fluid Dynamics, and recognizes videos of outstanding visual appeal and scientific interest. David Paulovics and his supervisors, Christophe Raufaste and Franck Celestini, in collaboration with Thomas Frisch and Cyrille Claudet, are currently studying the dynamics of frost formation. The video illustrates the main results obtained in the course of this research...

The video is available in this gallery: https://gfm.aps.org/ (Dynamics of frost propagation).
